The rules for using PidgePay, in plain language.

Last updated 7 October 2026

1. What PidgePay is

PidgePay lets you request and send payments in digital assets with a link. It is run by PidgePay ("we", "us").

PidgePay is software. It is not a bank, a payment institution, an exchange or a broker. We never hold your money: every payment goes straight from one wallet to another on a public blockchain.

By using PidgePay you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. Who can use PidgePay

You may use PidgePay if:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • using digital assets is legal where you live;
  • you are not on a sanctions list, and not acting for someone who is.

3. Your wallet and your keys

You pay and get paid with your own wallet. You alone control it. We cannot access your funds, move them, freeze them or get them back for you.

If you sign in with email, Google or a passkey, a wallet is created for you by our sign-in provider, Privy. That wallet is still yours and their terms apply to it.

Keep your device, your sign-in and any recovery phrase safe. We will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.

4. Payments are final

A payment on a blockchain cannot be reversed. Before you confirm, check the amount, the asset, the network and who you are paying. We cannot cancel or refund a payment for you.

If you pay the wrong person or the wrong amount, you will have to ask the person you paid to send it back.

5. Fees

PidgePay charges $0.10 per payment and $0.50 per batch payment. When a payout is swapped into another token or a stock token, PidgePay's swap fee is 1%. Every fee is shown before you confirm.

The network you pay on charges its own fee (gas). That fee goes to the network, not to us, and your wallet shows it before you sign.

We may change our fees. A new fee only applies to payments you make after the change.

6. Payouts and stock tokens

You choose what you get paid in. When your payout differs from what the payer sends, a swap provider converts it on the way. The amount you receive depends on the price at that moment.

Stock tokens are issued by third parties, not by us. They are not available to US persons, or in the United Kingdom, Canada or Switzerland. Holding a stock token is not the same as holding the share itself.

8. What you may not do

You may not use PidgePay to:

  • break the law, launder money, finance terrorism or evade sanctions;
  • defraud, mislead or harass people, or pretend to be someone else;
  • send unwanted payment requests in bulk;
  • attack, overload or tamper with PidgePay or other people's use of it.

We may limit or block access to our website and app for anyone who does. We cannot touch funds in your wallet.

9. Services we do not control

PidgePay relies on things other people run: blockchains, wallets, sign-in, swap and network providers. They can be slow, fail or change. We are not responsible for them, and their own terms apply when you use them.

10. Risks

Digital assets are risky. Prices can move quickly, networks can fail, software can have bugs, and laws and taxes differ per country. You use PidgePay at your own risk.

Nothing in PidgePay is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for your own taxes.

11. Our responsibility

We work hard to keep PidgePay running and correct, but we offer it "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost funds, lost profits or indirect damage that comes from using PidgePay, from mistakes in a payment you confirmed, or from services we do not control.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.

12. Changes

We may change PidgePay or these terms. When we change these terms we update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using PidgePay after a change, the new terms apply to you.

You can stop using PidgePay at any time. Your wallet and what is in it stay yours.
